December swim camp 2009
1-3 december
We weren't supposed to have any camp this december but the exco members still went ahead despite their own busy schedules and such, really proud of them :)
There were alot of team bonding games, I liked electric fence the most. Rlly required alot of team effort, encouragement and for some of the first timers, overcoming our fear of jumping from that height. It aint that bad actually!
I thought it was a good idea that they did not keep the same people in the same group, so there was alot of interaction with each other.
Barbequeing in the rain on the first night, good thing there were those large make-shift shelter in the pe office, otherwise all the food will go to waste! The teachers were really nice to buy all the food for us and even though it was hot and smelly, barbeque-ing in the rain went rather smoothly. J2s came to join us also, I missed them so much! Thanks for coming :)
The highlight of the camp was the dragon boating part at kallang river, which I (and I'm sure the rest) enjoyed alot. It was a 10 man team and it was a great opportunity to bond, have fun and support each other all the way. Tiring yes, but it was worth the sweat, and getting drenched.
Mr loh so happy when uncle raymond guessed he was 25. HAHA.
Yoguru at Kallang Leisure Park with chelsia and li jing while the other 17 went to watch case 39( pay to scare yourself only! I DONT LIKE). h2h talks with the 2 of them + awesome yogurt + disgustingly tasting chips + buying 3 for $2 pins for ourselves while waiting for the movie to end.
Sharing that night was... enlightening. Got to know everyone one step more and it really felt like, a family ykno? love my friends :)
