sports day on friday.

this year was really different, cos unlike past few years where sports day is in the morning and there wouldnt be ANY lessons, we had three periods of lessons and sports day in the afternoon.

yea, so th day seemed very very long.
SPORTS DAY was good fun!
elain got FIRST for the 100m dash and 4 x 100!
was really proud of her cos she was so worried about the event before that,but I assured her all would go well, and yes it did.

and how can I forget, all the peeps who ran, yall did great!!! go 3/7!!!!

barbeque on saturday, and i thought the candles part were pretty unique.
everyone who helped (though its only people from other regions), yall are greatly appreciated. :)
cooking for tons of hungry people, certainly no mean feat.
short short service, then back ta home sweet home.

sembawang service on sunday, then evening service.
I guess, like what lynette said, the start of fasting and prayer week in accordance to the start of tknet, it sure meant something.
The Lord has great visions for us yes, and we're gonna fufill it . :)

Chinese Oral today!!!
the examiner, aka my chinese teacher, was real nice.
i mean, i felt comfortable with her being my examiner la, cos ya know, she knows me and i know her.
i pretty much screwed up the question part .
I knew what i wanted to say, but it just formed in my mind english words, and i had no idea how to put it in chinese.
so i ended up fumbling, searching for the right words ta say. :/

at the end of the conversation, mrs lau said( in chinese) : in class, you sit behind and laugh and talk with the rest. your chinese standard is actually not bad, but if you paid more attention in class, you would have known what to say and done better. I talked about this a few weeks back, so you should have listened. It's really hen3 ke3 xi1.

so yea, does that mean i failed? i think she said hen3 ke3 xi1 like 2 or 3 times.
Oh Lord, i pray that i passed.
